Nine musicline students and their teacher from Southgreenland stopped by at Performers House during their studytrip to Prague in August to check out how life is at the hojskole. The Music Line students Liilu Korneliussen and Ejner Sandholm showed them around and gave a small workshop.
--
The greenlandic group arrived at Performers House on 25th of August, and at first they were shown the facilities at the main building by the leader of the music line, Sus Stensig and the technical leader, Jeppe Cohrt. The students were especially curious about the equipment in the music studio and curious about the way we live at Performers House - especially how the cultural differences can produce new exciting art. After the tour around the buildings Ejner and Liilu inspired the students to play some of the songs they had prepared for their exams back in Greenland - and Ejner gave the students a lesson of ”grounding” and ”feeling the beat”. --
The students were quite satisfied with the tour although they would have liked to play a bit more music. Except from that they had a good experience and some of them seemed interested in applying for a stay here at Performers House. --
