Some regulation changes and some new faces

20. March 11/ New members of the PHSA board elected at the general assembley 2011

... and here's the team - a renewed board with substitutes of the important organization with the funny title: PHSA. From left to right Christina Holdensen and Anna Sofie Kaspersen (substitutes), Emil Rothmann, Maria Styrbęk and Sofie Christiansen (new members), Sofie Albęk, Henrik Lauritsen and Louise Alber (continuing members) - one continuing member was not present at the meeting: Anna Emma Haudal. Congratulations to the new leadership of Performers House Student Association!

As chairman of the board Henrik Lauritsen invited the boardmembers to a first meeting immediately after the general assembley and welcomed everyone to the hard but highly appreciated work, while preparations for workshops, party and other activities at the 2011 reunion went on outside the room.

>>> With Sofie Albęk as chairman of the meeting, the general assembley decided upon some changes to the regulations - one of them says, that members of the board must be able to meet in person at the boardmeetings. These are always held at Performers House - or in Copenhagen or Aarhus. The assembley also decided to keep the fee for one years membership at 100 DKR which goes into the price for participating at the annual reunion.

At the assembley, the participants discussed the possibility of having longer reunions with more activities, maybe a whole week during summer vacation. Principal Lars Ilum asked if the students would be interested in a "reunion" summer course at an estimated prize of 2000 DKR for a week since this would be the way the school could organize it in accordance with the law on hojskoler.

One former student pointed out, that the PHSA-members should use the organisation to keep each other informed of what they are doing. Obviously this could be one af the tasks for the coming PHSA-website.
