Could you describe the new circus line in five words?
- Colourful, playground, mixed, powerful, exciting.
What is the structure of basic weeks? What are you working on?
- We began to work with physical theater and acrobatics (handstands, balancing, rolls, jumps etc.). Then we had trapeze, rope, tissue and now we are having vertical dance.
 How is your working day ? (the most busy with circus stuff – Wednesday)
- We begin the day with some power warm up and stretching, then we are working on the actual things (depending on which teacher we have). These classes usually take lots of energy, so in the afternoon we try to do some more calm things. Then it is important to go to practice in the evenings. The regular hours are not enough so it is really needed if you want to see some progress in your work.
How long did the preparation for Main Subject Project take? Was it a hard time for you to work on this?
- We had about a week, we started too late, and of course the beginning was difficult and stressful, but when we almost gave up it started to become interesting.
How did you create the piece? (improvisation, ideas of teachers, your ideas etc.)
- The first idea was that we will be a small group moving together and after this a lot of ideas came up. We did it together, the students and the teachers. Michéle was our artistic director.
 Which projects are you working on now? What will you be preparing and working on till the end of this term?
- Right now we are working in an open air place at Silkeborg Bad for the opening of a statue (two figures making back rolls). We took our main subject project outside and are trying to transform it according to the new surroundings and it is very interesting because along with this we have had a lot of new ideas.
What are your personal aims you want to reach here?
- I think that in our group everyone found their house in the circus territory and everybody chose different things as kind of specialization – trapeze, acrobatics, joggling etc. And the aim of the course is to get better at it. Personally I prefer the areals (trapeze, tissue, vertical dance, rope) and I'm trying to work on it as much as possible.
