Thursday 28 of April - Visiting the Silkeborg beach
--

On this day we were walking along the Silkeborg beach with our Danish culture teachers. We went there by car and left the car at the parking place. Then we walked on foot around the lake, it can be almost 5 km and we discovered some nice things.
--
There are three beaches there. One is for the younger people and the second for families, where persons can come with their family and make some food and a small picnic. The third one is for the nudists and the teachers told us that this one used to belong to Germans who wanted to create their one place to enjoy beach life in their one way. So they built and arranged that place – also in order to make their one part different from the others

Friday 29 of April - Dance day in the street
--
This Friday Dance Line was at the Main Square to make a kind of dance expression following the movement of passers by. Firstly, we would take a position. Then, when people moved around and passed you by, you would have to change your position – in a way depending on the persons repositioning. If they were moving fast you would have to change fast – you should move following their walk. If they were moving slowly you should do the same, and you would have to improvise a new movement every time a person would walk or cross in front you.
--
On the same day, there was a great meeting in the square where people were enjoying themselves there was this big head of fish – big but not dangerous. The people at the meeting made it and they stayed in a large tent that day to also have a good time.

“Extreme sports” competition in Silkeborg
--
Also on Friday 29 of April there was a very exciting experience in Silkeborg. In the afternoon many people came to participate in an “extreme sports” competition and to try to win a championship. There were many teams and they all went through different disciplines, and it was interesting to see all that.
--
There were many steps: At first they ran, then they went up the Radisson hotel building and rappelled down, then they carried a boat up to the river harbor and paddled it from the other side of the theatre and culture building next to Performers House and down the stream fall, then they swam for five meters under the pedestrian bridge to Performers House and climbed up a mat to the bridge, then they ran again, this time around the hospital on top of the hill and finally they came back to the Performers House building and climbed it with ropes. And finally they could go and get their rank by the pedestrian bridge. It was so exciting. --
