This year the dance line have been doing their midterm project together with the elektronic music line. The electronic music line has been making the music which the dancers has been performing to. The lines startet working together back in February, finding some kind of story, creating a set of frames for the two lines to work within.
The theme of the performance is Evolution, starting from Big Bang, moving on to The first life, Dinosaurs and wilds animals, The human – Religion, middelage and war – and in the end the Machines/robots take over the world.
"I think the two lines complement each other really good, the different sounds/tracks helps telling the story, which sometimes can be really difficult to understand in performances where nobody is speaking - but with the sounds of Hitlers speech and Martin Luther Kings 'I have a dream' or a hundred monks praying overlaps with the firsts lines from the bible, the image of human confusion becomes rather clear", says Javanna Dybbroe, one of the dancers.
