Story: Kåre

A walk to the opposite corner of the town of Silkeborg brought the students to the arts exhibitions.

It used to be a health institution, a bathing facility at a famous source, thus the name Silkeborg Bath, today a public art center.  On the first day of February all students visited Art Center Silkeborg Bad - a three mile walk from the school.
In the main building an exhibition of graphical art showed various prints, new and old, but actually the main attraction was the view through the large windows in the hall overlooking the lake “Ørnsø”. In another building an exhibition of prints and drawings by German artist Hans Ruprecht took op several rooms on two floors. Imagination seems a never ending source for this artist and runs troughs his pens and crayons and graphical tool to the paper.

One recurring motif in Hans Ruprechts art is the tower of Babylon - and animals, toys, fantastic machinery, imaginative landscapes etc. etc. etc.
